We purchased our original Jun culture 6 years ago from Culture Mother - and if you want to make classic green tea-based jun, we recommend purchasing from her as well. :)
 
We spent 6 years slowly training our culture to be able to feast not just on green tea but to also have the robustness to chew through a number of herbal botanicals. Some of which, like raspberry leaf for example, have natural antiseptic qualities that normally hinder a SCOBY's growth.

Each pellicle comes in a wide-mouth mason jar with 500ml of starter liquid, a QR card to access our Instructions For Safe & Tasty Jun Brewing, a precise ph measurement at the time of jarring and a square of natural muslin cloth and an elastic. :)
